COMMUNITY OUTREACH

VIRGINIA'S PREMIERE EYE CARE CENTER

Since its founding in 2007, Dr. Haine has been serving the Ashland/Hanover Community as the Chief Optometric Physician of Hanover Interfaith Free Eye Clinics. He established the first Eye Clinic in conjunction with the members of the Shiloh Baptist Church. The focus was simple - serve the less fortunate in the community by providing high-quality care to those in need of comprehensive eye health services.
The clinics serve as places of volunteer missions and provide a unique outreach for many individuals to contribute to others' well-being. Founded and perpetuated by a spirit of volunteerism and community, the clinic is comprised of dedicated volunteers, all of whom, administrators, clerks, and health care providers, donate their time. No one is compensated for service.
The entire Hanover Interfaith Free Clinic System depends on volunteers, community resources, and donations. The clinics have been able to extend medical services to include dental care, podiatry, women's wellness, pain management clinics, group diabetes counseling, and nutrition, and health care education. It continues to full a critical unmet need in the community to help ensure more have access to healthcare to enjoy a better standard of life.
